I believe that public sculpture should emphasize a location’s identity, inspire community, and create lasting intrigue as an integral part of its environment. I am drawn towards the approach and challenge of creating believability of concept while maintaining an abstracted genre. This approach leaves room for each viewer to bring something unique to their own observations. Design elements are inspired through geography, architecture, history, and philosophical observations specific to a given local. My goal is to create lasting intrigue in each sculpture by exposing “truth”.
